While not everything is perfect, nex has made a great game and keeps making it better. All heroes, excluding one, are free to obtain and set items are there only real rng based items. I have played this game since day two of its global release, and I still cant find another game in App Store that compares to fwts turn-based tactics genre.

With clever writing, engaging character design and a variety of ways to advance in an environment that rewards tactical play, theres a lot to like about with Fantasy War Tactics. Theyre generous with their premium currency through daily rewards, there are a lot of characters to collect and almost always something to do. Regular updates add new content and even improve things like the user-interface in ways that really enhance the game. The only real problem is the in-app purchases are bizarrely over priced, especially given the free availability of premium currency anyway. The daily stipend of Coocoos Gift can be worth paying for, but nothing else really is--which is too bad because Id love to put more money into a game with this level of character, design and story. Especially with a paywall character in the game, the rich potential is crippled by corporate greed, but there is still fun to be had in spite of the company.

Fun fun fun. You dont have to spend money if you dont want to. Daily rewards are awesome. You could spend all day playing if you want or if you dont have time just check in and get your rewards.

Fun. Addicting. Can be F2P and still experience it all. Love it but Nexon pls.... Where is Season2?

Turn base system that reminds me of final fantasy tactics is really fun to play and the story is good so far has a few elements of comedy in it

I started this game 1 year after I got my iPad. This game is really amazing it has a lot of character and story to it.

I play everyday and several times a day. No money required, and gameplay is challenging.

Since I started playing this game about a year ago, Ive had months where I played everyday and a month or two where I played very little, but I keep coming back. The game offers FF tactics style gameplay with some fun nuances. Each character has backstory and scenes, as well as relationships with other characters that gives them a bonus when they cooperate in battle. For Busy players, the game offers numerous ways to streamline repetitive tasks, like grinding through battles youve already cleared. Unlocking the story means unlocking plot, characters, and party options. The game also offers guild and friend functions, as well as chat with other players. I have had a lot of fun unlocking characters and trying to build teams of good friends, but right now I just got a dragon character but I need to work on climbing a tower of tough missions to rescue her friend. So the game has me busy again, even with so many other newer games around to draw my attention. I highly recommend this game to those that like tactical games, and as a free player, this has been a great experience so far.

Fantasy war tactics is a great f2p turn based strategy game, with very similar gameplay to fire emblem. If youre lucky, like I was, you may be able to join during an event that will elevate all of your currencies (gold, gems, "potions" of some sort) to a comfortable level. The story is a bit cliche and linear, but its enough to tie together the trip across the world with the careful planning with each decision in the game. Great fun, and can get very addicting due to its daily quests and dungeons (Grinding fans are welcome). 10/10 ign would tactics again.

If you enjoyed final fantasy tactics back in the day. This is the next step they would have taken, if they made an updated game.

An awesome SRPG game with beautiful graphics!! I have got to world 7 and havent spent a penny!! Highly recommended :)
